Individuals are required to:

• Register for work by completing the SFN 385 - Affidavit for SNAP Work Requirements or SFN 353 - Employment and Training Affidavit at the time of application and every 12 months.
• Seek and accept suitable employment.
• Have good cause when quitting suitable employment.
• Comply with Job Opportunities and Basic Skills (JOBS) and Basic Employment Skills Training (BEST) requirements and NDWORKS requirements.
• Comply with Unemployment Insurance Benefits (UIB).  Based on discussion with the State Job Service Office and requirements for receipt of unemployment benefits, there is no failure to comply with UIB requirements.  The individual simply does not receive a benefit.

 

Individuals are not required to:

• Register for work at Job Service.
• Apply for Unemployment Benefits.
